This is going to be a multimedia diary. I want my diary to be “alive” hence I want to compile it while I am in the field, not write reflections later on. Often in the field you are too busy/tired/lazy to write, so I have gone to voice recordings. I hope they are much more ‘present’ and genuine.
Heavy use of audio recordings, photos and video clips means my diary it is going to have huge data files that will be very slow to down load.
For those of you with really slow internet connections (Mum & Dad) I might burn it to disk and post it. This will have the advantage of using high resolution (fine print) photos, movies, and audio tracks.
Spread it Thinly…
For those of you who know me, I think you will be truly interested in my journey presented in this blog… If you take it in small bits! I am SURE you will find it a chore if you try to wade through it in a single session, in a rush, or in a long sessions. I suggest AND ASK that you only look/read/listen to any of my blog in snippets of not more than 5-15 minutes, leave it for a few days or weeks, and come back to progress a bit more of the same blog posting. Hopefully this way it will always be a bit fresh.
